Bernice B. Butler

Bea died peacefully on April 12, 2022, at the Hospice House in Spokane, Washington. She was born on January 19, 1934, in Wayne County Pennsylvania. Bea met her future husband while working at Bendix Aviation Corp. and they were married on October 15, 1955. While Bob served 22 years in the US Military they managed to raise 4 boys and get stationed back to Fairchild AFB before retiring in 1972. They then moved to Sprague, Washington in 1976, where Bea became involved in The Progressive Club, and The Library Board of Directors, and was instrumental in composing a history book of the families of the Sprague area. She had also served as Vice-President of the Historical Society as well as Secretary of the Women's Club. Bea was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Bob Butler, her son William and 3 of her 5 sisters. Bea is survived by her 3 sons, 1 grandson 5 brothers, and 1 sister. Her Memorial service will be held at Cheney Funeral Chapel at 1632 W. 1st St., Cheney, Washington on May 14th, at 11 am.
