Kimberlee Kay Williams

After a valiant two-year battle with ovarian cancer, Kimberlee Kay Williams passed peacefully on July 24, 2023, in Cheney, Washington with family by her side. Kimberlee was born in Reno, Nevada on November 9, 1963, to Thomas and Charlese (Rupley) Davidson. She spent her childhood in Winnemucca, Nevada, and graduated from Albert Lowry High School in 1982. Blessed with height and athleticism, she was a member of the Lady Buckaroos’ volleyball and basketball teams. She also played softball and participated in bowling. Kim married the love of her life, Steven Williams in 1994. They made their home in Cheney where she was a friend to everyone. She was employed by the Cheney School District, where she worked as a Special Education Para-Educator. A loyal Eastern Washington University fan, she enjoyed attending the Eagles’ basketball and football games. Kim also supported the Seattle Seahawks and Seattle Mariners. You will never find a more gentle and kind human being. She was a giver, sometimes to a fault, and found the best in everyone she met. Above all else, she loved her family. She carried pictures of her children and grandchildren and shared them everywhere she went. They were her pride and joy. Kim also loved animals. One of her favorite pastimes was visiting the Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge, visiting the park daily during her illness. She could name every animal, where they roamed and the best time for sightings. The daily drive brought her much comfort and joy. Kim also enjoyed camping, trips to the Quest with friends, and her daily phone conversations with her sister Lisa. Kimberlee was preceded in death by her parents Tom and Charlese Davidson. She is survived by her husband Steve, children, Jason Williams, Leavenworth, WA., daughters, Amy Williams and Angie Pileggi, Cheney, WA and grandchildren, Riley, Austin, Isaach, Eva, Tony, Greyson, Harrison, and great-grandchild Weston. She is also survived by siblings, Stan Davidson (Sue) Herber City, Utah, Dean Davidson, Sparks, Nevada, and Lisa Jaureguito (Tim) Stephenville, Texas as well as nieces Bobbie, Randee, Charli, and Maddison. A celebration of life will be held with close family and friends at a later date.
