Jeremy Michael Christian

On Thursday, July 22, Jeremy Michael Christian entered into eternal rest in Jesus Christ at the age of 24. Jeremy was born on December 13, 1996, and spent his childhood in Colville, Vancouver, Four Lakes, and finally Cheney, Washington where he spent most of his life. He was a light-hearted child with an infectious laugh. He loved building LEGOs with his dad and brother and spent many happy hours playing with his brother and friends. He started his academic career being homeschooled, but he and his brother rejoiced greatly when they were allowed to attend Christian Heritage School in their junior high years. His time there was very special to him as he loved his teachers and made so many close friends who, to this day, were like family to him. He was talented musically and taught himself to play drums and the guitar which he loved and excelled at. It wasn’t uncommon for him to listen to a song he liked and then in a short period of time he had it mastered and could play it with ease. He also was mechanically inclined and with the aid of a few YouTube videos, he fixed many cars in his short life. He had some additional schooling following high school, first studying as an electrician, and then taking a course in home inspection, but his real interests were in buying and selling. His love of cars naturally lead to flipping them for a profit, but his goal was to buy and sell real estate for a living. His latest venture was the purchase of a duplex where he lived and was remodeling with the intent to sell at a profit. We were all amazed at how talented he was. He wasn’t afraid to tackle any project, even if he had never done it before, and his remodel turned out beautifully. He was survived by his father and mother, Mike and Darla Christian, his brother, David, his grandmothers, Jackie Christian and Dorothy Forbes, his birth family, and many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly. He will be sorely missed by all who loved him, but we take great comfort in knowing that he is safe and at peace in the Lord Jesus Christ. A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 31st at Cheney Funeral Chapel. All who knew Jeremy are welcome to attend.
